The main pavilion is the centre of the club where most of the activity occurs. It is in this area where most people congregate particularly on the terrace and the lawns which spread in front and gently slope towards the swimming pool.

In early summer the trees are particularly green and the Rhododendrons are in full bloom providing an attractive and private boundary. In one flower bed is a large bird table which is visited by a wide variety of birds.
